Complex custom build on the side of a hill, built out of hardwood and steel. Steel works involved detailed custom fabrication with tricking angles on large gradients. No town water assessable so a large tank was installed under the garage floor to supply the house with water. Treatment plant was positioned at the foot of hill, so it was out of the way.
Constant design changes throughout process due to the nature of the block resulting in a high end, structurally sound and sturdy house, which would definitely not suit most builders. Challenges is what we like at Main Group.
